In 2023, Innosuisse approved funding contributions amounting to CHF 492.2 million (incl. overheads).
Demand was high to very high in all funding areas in 2023. All in all, the approved funding contributions rose sharply compared with previous years, since Innosuisse approved projects with direct financing for Swiss companies for the first time in 2023. This funding was provided both as part of the call for projects for the Swiss Accelerator in 2022 as a transitional measure for Horizon Europe and as part of the new start-up innovation projects. Innosuisse also approved both new flagships and Innovation Boosters.
The support provided by Innosuisse continues to focus on national and international innovation projects between universities and implementation partners such as SMEs.
